How Do I Keep My House and Car?

Everyone has debt. Our goal is to help you manage yours in a way that will help you protect those assets that are important to you such as your house, your car, your retirement accounts, and business assets. Every case is as different as every individual and our attorneys work to provide a plan to help you to find the path to financial recovery.

We will take the time to understand your financial picture, discuss your goals and educate you about your options. Reviewing your budget, we can help you address underlying financial problems and help you to put together a plan for the future.

We work collaboratively, meaning that when you hire one of our consumer bankruptcy lawyers, you will have the skills and knowledge of our entire firm working for you.

Personal Bankruptcy Plan

After a careful analysis of your situation, we will help you determine which form of consumer bankruptcy might work for you. We have experience serving high-asset clients, and we put that experience to work for clients with moderate or low incomes as well.

You may qualify for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, a liquidation bankruptcy that will permanently discharge unsecured debts such as medical bills, credit cards and all other loans and debts that are not secured by collateral. You can generally keep your house and your car under a Chapter 7 bankruptcy.**

If you are not eligible for Chapter 7, we will help you explore Chapter 13, a reorganization bankruptcy. Chapter 13 will allow you to pay some or all of your debt over a three- to five-year time period, including back taxes.

Our priority is finding you debt relief, and we are dedicated to helping you get past your financial crisis.
